Salt

Updating your Salt installation to the latest version is a simple process:

1. Log in to the Salt administration area;
2. Click Software Updates in the menu at the left;
3. If a newer version of Salt is available, click the Download button to download the update file to your computer. If you see "This installation of Salt is up-to-date", then you are already running the latest version and there is nothing to do;
4. Otherwise, once the update file has downloaded to your computer, upload it into Salt using the form provided;
5. Follow the prompts and wait for the update to be applied. The entire process will usually only take a few minutes;
6. Log in to the Salt administration area, and go back to Software Updates again to verify you are now up-to-date;
7. That's it!
