Revelation Software Concepts Releases Salt 1.7

Maintenance Update of Salt Platform Smooths Use of Salt Apps™ for SAP®, Especially With Very Large Objects and Complex Systems

Melbourne, AU – October 10, 2011

Revelation Software Concepts Pty Ltd (RSC), creator of the widely used Rev-Trac® change control technology for use with SAP® solutions, today released Salt 1.7. The maintenance Salt platform upgrade will smooth the use and administration of Salt and the Salt Apps™ utility programs it drives, improving Salt Apps performance primarily with the largest objects and most complex systems.

The Salt 1.7 upgrade enhances Salt’s performance in three primary ways:

• Improves handling of very large workbench objects – additional VM (virtual machine) headroom makes it easier to work with the largest objects and systems
• Supports flexible configuring of multiple SAP system client logins − more flexible user login methods ease access to multiple system clients
• Enables faster and easier Salt backups and updates – time spent on such administrative chores was already small but RSC found ways to shrink it even further
