Salt Apps Dashboard

Entry to the Version Vault app is via the Salt dashboard, which can be accessed via the SAPGUI or via a browser.

On the Salt dashboard, you will also find a collection of other apps your project team can use to immediately improve SAP system health and integrity.

Version Vault Interface

Instantly see all the versionable objects in the SAP systems Salt is connected to (e.g. DEV, QAS and PRD). This information is kept safely outside the SAP system, is automatically updated and instantly available.

The intuitive tree and menu design allows you to quickly and easily navigate between systems and object types and even allows for selection from many different types of objects.

Alternatively, you can utilise the intelligent pattern matching field to filter the available object selections as you type to quickly drill down to your desired object.

Differences between Object Versions

Version Vault not only has all the information on what a system looks like today, but also its evolution.

For many types of objects, you can see at a glance the differences between their versions. Even suppress case sensitivity and indentation if you like to highlight the more significant differences. Great for finding those subtle changes that make all the difference.
