Watch Bot Alert Rules

Watch Bot users can define personal alert rules that specify what objects or system events Watch Bot will monitor for them. When Watch Bot sees an object change or system event that matches an alert rule, Watch Bot can send an alert to one or more email addresses associated with the rule.

Objects can be monitored based on any combination of system, development class/package, type, name, and author.

System events that Watch Bot can monitor include changes in the system connection (up/down), changes in the activation state in Salt, system restores, and system copies.

Alerts Search

Watch Bot can send alerts via email when they occur, but alerts can also be searched for and displayed at any time using the Watch Bot app.

The details of each alert satisfying the search criteria are displayed in a list, including the time of the event, the system involved, and the alert rule which triggered the alert.
